We could access our rooms as soon as we arrived in the early afternoon, which let us explore Vitré, a beautiful medieval town 15 km away, and the breakfast was excellent at a very reasonable price. There was no elevator to bring luggage to the upper floor, and there was no air conditioning.

The room had a good mattress, decoration, a gym, a dog‑friendly reception, and a possibility for light refreshments; it was calm, had a large parking lot, and the sauna and jacuzzi were not working, so we had to leave for the relaxation area. There was no mini‑bar, no milk pods in the room, and the reception of one staff member was not great, although the other lady was very friendly.

A fantastic value for money. The hotel is pretty and cozy, sleeping well and dining superbly. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The single-course menu feels almost gourmet—finely prepared and well served. It’s the kind of place you’d love to see more often. The only downside was the tiny TV in my room.
