The location in town was fine, the communal area was pleasant, and the room was well‑equipped; it was cozy with a couch and a flat‑screen TV, so it was okay. The breakfast was self‑service, meaning you had to fetch everything from the fridge and prepare it yourself; the open ham was already greasy, and the hygiene wasn’t as good as in Germany.

“A guest house with host made of paper sheets”

I hate having to meet hosts who could welcome me, explain how everything works, and give me advice on anything I might need. I prefer to find the information scattered around and learn how to self‑host, like where to throw the trash or how to get the keys for checkout. So here it was perfect; I could avoid human interaction with the hosts. I was disappointed to have to call the written phone number to learn my room number, which distracted the person from her real job.

The rooms are pretty, cozy, and well‑furnished, and the common areas are nice. Breakfast was plentiful at a nearby venue a few meters away. The shared bathrooms were adequately available. Checking in by phone was straightforward and worked well. The accommodation is especially good for birdwatchers and those seeking peace. There isn’t much going on in the town, which can be pleasant for a quiet stay. The view of the midnight sun is especially beautiful – a real highlight and a great experience.
