The place is great for people who want to unplug from daily stress, especially technology. GSM signal is weak and Wi‑Fi had issues, but if you’re looking to cut off all interference, this is the spot! The spa and outdoor facilities are designed for families. It’s a family business, so customer interaction is direct. We loved the two identical black cats—one stays outdoors and is shy, the other stays inside and enjoys attention! The views are spectacular, surrounded by mountains. It’s remote, so if you need a pharmacy or just a walk, you must drive to Poiana Brașov or Rasnov; few businesses deliver, so plan ahead. Also watch out for local wildlife, especially bears, so it’s not advisable to wander outside at night.

The location and the courtyard were good. After a tiring drive, when I wanted to rest for an hour, the owner was busy renovating—cutting with a chainsaw, hammering nails, chopping wood, making holes, basically building something (he had a full yard all winter and spring). When I thought I could lay my head for an hour, he grabbed my wife or daughter to mow the lawn. I wanted to leave immediately, but exhaustion and his words stopped me. Maybe I arrived at the wrong time.
