“Very disappointing compared to our last stay. Will most likely not stay there again.”
The young man who checked us in, Andrew, was very nice, helpful, and recommended a great restaurant for us to try. We liked the location and our stay last time, and we had absolutely no issues. The beds in the rooms are very comfortable. We appreciate the exercise room, and housekeeping was very helpful, keeping us supplied with towels on our last visit so we didn’t need anything this time. This time we were on the fourth floor instead of the second, and the water pressure up there was terrible. It took forever for the water to get hot. From the time we arrived, the bathroom sink would not drain properly. We informed the front desk within an hour of our arrival, but nothing was done while we were there. The most annoying part of our stay was that there was a mechanical room directly next to our room number 417. The air handler in that room was so loud, it sounded like a locomotive idling just on the other side of the wall. This continued all day and into the night. It was turned off sometime during the night, but restarted each morning, making it unpleasant to be in the room. Both trash cans were rusty at the bottoms. The ceiling was falling down in one spot, looking like it may have been a roof leak that had not been properly patched or repaired, and on our last day some kind of big bug was trying to get out of the room before we did. Lastly, it would be nice if they had one more selection of plain scrambled eggs for breakfast. We went to McDonald’s both days because neither of us cares for those omelette things. The rest of the breakfast was fine.
