The place was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was super clean and easy to use; the owner’s communication was timely and professional. The location was easy to find and the side alley was very clean, yet the back of the property felt a little sketchy in the dark and I wondered if I was in the right place, but once inside it was a lovely place.

Very clean, but the staircase…

Very clean and convenient. Comfy bed, easy check‑in, decent kitchen and spotless bathroom (even though it’s shared). It wasn’t great value, to be honest. I think I paid a premium because I stayed on a Tramlines weekend (even though I wasn’t going to Tramlines – I was there for a wedding). I paid £162, which is a lot for what it is. Most other times, a double room is £65 – which I would say is great value.

The spot’s location is spot on, with a ton of shops, restaurants, and bars nearby, and the room itself was great; I’d definitely come back.
