It’s a beautiful spot—quiet and relaxing, perfect for unwinding. The Sail Loft was lovely, with a fantastic balcony to sit outside and soak up the sun. The sofa and dining chairs needed replacement; the sofa was uncomfortable and too low, and the dining chairs were damaged, ruining the room’s look.

Such a relaxing place. Quiet with lovely views. On my second stay in the Sail Loft, I was never disappointed. The only downside was having to leave—everything good eventually ends.

The lodge is stunning and well equipped, with a great hot tub and a veranda that offers a lovely view. The setting is picturesque. It feels a bit isolated, about 10‑15 minutes from the main town, but since we had a car it wasn’t a problem, and the unexpected peace in Somerset was a bonus.

The hot tubs were lovely and the rooms were clean and nice! We found bread, butter, milk, cheese, cake, and Prosecco ready for us on arrival, and the kitchen facilities were great. The only issue was that you had to book a specific package to use the spa, which we only found out a few days before arriving.

The place lacked a hot tub, but it offered what might be the largest bath I've ever used, which was perfect for winding down in the evenings. I also enjoyed the on‑site spa after spending an evening there. For the price I paid and the overall quality, the absence of a hot tub feels more like a minor omission than a serious flaw.
