The holiday apartment offered a stunning view over the Tuscan hills, and communication was very good. The apartment was well furnished, and walking to Pienza was only 900 m. We really enjoyed our stay.
“Amazing Agriturismo walking distance to Pienza”
The host, Giosef, is incredibly welcoming and helpful, and that really stands out. The place sits close to Pienza, so if the heatwave isn’t brutal, a short walk gets you into town without parking hassles; if you drive, parking in a lot just outside town is still convenient. The rooms are roomy, the living area cozy, and the air conditioning works great. Even though the building is historic, the apartments feel modern thanks to Giosef’s redesign, with thoughtful touches like inset stair lights. Dining on the patio offers stunning views, tasty food, and homemade pasta; there’s also an on‑site olive oil tasting where you can take some home. The laundry machine is user‑friendly, and the patio is perfect for coffee while soaking up the scenery. Pienza itself is a solid base for trips to Montepulciano, Montalcino, and more, with a nearby supermarket, a nice spot for breakfast pastries, and plenty of good restaurants and gelato. This was the family’s top pick, and even the teens were amazed, asking, “Wow, how did you find this place?” Everyone agreed that Giosef was the best.
“Alles einfach nur Super”
Giosef is simply super‑friendly and a very nice host. We felt very comfortable. We can only highly recommend.
“Ferienwohnung mit schöner Terasse”
The spacious holiday apartment had a large terrace with a fantastic valley view, and the air conditioning worked great during the hot summer. The property’s location allowed a pleasant walk to Pienza. The host was helpful and responded quickly. The small bedroom, however, had two narrow 80 cm beds and no proper window; the window was high up, hidden behind a curtain, not transparent, and couldn’t be fully darkened with blinds, so passing cars made the room uncomfortably bright at night.
“Wonderful and memorable stay, lazing on the hammock early on a summers day watching the birds play and with that view al”
Giosef is a wonderful and friendly host who made us feel welcome even before arrival. He communicated well, supplied plenty of useful information, and responded quickly to messages, clearly prioritizing guest satisfaction. The view upon arrival was a wow moment, with sweeping valley vistas in front of the property and picturesque Pienza perched on the hill behind. The apartment feels traditional, fitting for a working farmhouse, yet it’s very comfortable and cool in hot weather, with all the essentials and ample space for two. The private terrace offers spectacular views, hammocks, and sun loungers for relaxing in a bird‑filled garden, and Pienza is just a short uphill walk away, offering even more impressive scenery. Pienza turned out to be one of the most beautiful villages we visited.
