“Nice room but hard to find with Booking.com photos of exterior/lobby that didn't match reality.”
The room itself was very spacious, modern, and clean with many light fixtures and switches. The bathroom had a frosted glass wall and was also roomy. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful if you can speak basic Mandarin. The room came with decent amenities. The view from the window was nice and the hotel was close to a bustling night market and commercial district. The location was hard to find because the name listed here didn’t exactly match the actual place (Wei Li vs. De la Reine). The lobby photos online didn’t match what was actually there. Once you found the correct building, you had to take an elevator several floors up, then walk into a semi‑abandoned building and down a long corridor lined with empty offices to reach the hotel. The Wi‑Fi required a bit of maneuvering to get online despite a QR code to scan. Finally, you could also catch whiffs of cigarette smoke from nearby rooms.
