The breakfast on Saturday was fine, the staff were friendly and polite. The bathroom door in room 106 was damaged at the lock, as if it had been knocked off, and the carpet was old and stained; a four‑star hotel that still needs some fixes.

The hotel is great in the center of Szekesfehervar. The entrance is on the pedestrian zone, while parking and the underground entrance are on the back side, which my navigation pointed me to correctly. That worked well because a folk festival had closed the whole city center to traffic. The underground is small and has lift parking boxes, so it’s better to reserve a spot. I came on a motorcycle and luckily there was still space for one; the lift boxes aren’t suitable for bikes. Despite asking, no one properly explained the parking options or that the city center would be closed because of the festival. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant, but it was closed because of the festival; however the pedestrian zone has plenty of alternatives. Breakfast was varied and sufficient. I still wish the staff had mentioned the city center closure and reserved a spot for my motorcycle before I arrived, but I was lucky to find a place.

Breakfast was good, with fresh bread and the option to have an omelette, rooms were clean, a welcome water was provided, and the gym and spa were nice extras. I expected a better breakfast for a four‑star hotel and missed salads. The gym was okay but could use an elliptical. The staff were friendly and helpful, though many were trainees, which affected the service.

A very cozy and clean hotel in the city center, with a very friendly and pleasant front desk staff. There is a paid underground parking, but you have to book it in advance.
