I stayed for one night in an old, dated place; the lady was lovely, but that was about it. There was a long wait to be accommodated, confusion over room assignments, we had to wait upstairs and then were asked to come downstairs. The room was very small, the bed was awful – you wake up stuck in the hole. For those with bad backs, reconsider. I won’t book again, but for one night it was just bearable.

The bed was comfortable. I couldn’t watch TV and my phone signal was very poor.

The tiny window in the room never closed, leaving a black tar smell in the kettle, and the milk cups were all stained; the carpet was filthy and the space between the bed and the entrance door was cramped, making the room uncomfortable. I never saw the owners and couldn’t retrieve my 20‑dollar deposit even after waiting half an hour after checkout, with no one around to help.

Everything was close by and worked out perfectly for us, and the bed was good, with everything we needed right on the doorstep.

We stayed in three rooms—room 1 had a toilet that wouldn’t flush, room 2 had no cold water pressure at the sink, and room 3’s bed was broken.
