“Cold and freezing inside in the room”

I scored it 5.0/10: the room was spacious, but at 4 °C in New Zealand the heater wasn’t working, so we were freezing all night.

I rated it 9.0/10. The bed was very comfortable, the cooking facilities and dining area were great, and I liked having a bath and shower. The last room I stayed in was clean, but this time the carpet outside the bathroom and the bathroom floor were wet, and I almost slipped. I’m not sure why the carpet was wet. The front door handle was loose and made a horrible noise when closing, and the inside of the door was very dirty. I told the receptionist about the wet carpet, but she didn’t come to look; she just said “okay” and that was it. The heaters are a bit loud, and the extractor fan turns on when you flip the bathroom light, so I couldn’t use the light in the toilet or bath without the fan making noise; I had to use the hall light. The bathroom light should be on a separate switch from the extractor fan. Despite all that, I was happy with the comfortable bed, lounge area, and kitchen.

“Great cost effective place to stay when in town.”

The room was spacious, but a few issues popped up: the main door handle was loose and nearly fell off, two window latches were missing, and the mirror light in the bathroom didn’t work.

The two‑bedroom loft apartment was fantastic for us—ample space, super comfy, and the lovely lady at reception was incredibly welcoming, even escorting us to our unit to ensure we were satisfied! The service was outstanding 👏👏

“we left after 30 minutes”

I couldn't recommend this place at all; the windows had broken latches, the main door lock was loose, the shower was filthy with mould, there were no electric blankets, and the entire room smelled awful.
