“Not the best and couldn't recommend.”
When I arrived, the receptionist was very pleasant, but I struggled to understand her accented English. The suite was nice, but the beds were quite hard and the décor felt like 19th‑century colonial India. Why did everything have to be painted gold? The tables, chairs, wardrobe and bedside tables were all gold, and the curtains seemed to be made from something like sari fabric. The dinner was disappointing: we ordered Beef Shoulder, but what arrived looked and tasted like it came from a tin of Princes stewing steak. Breakfast was a buffet; the eggs were solid, the bacon was so salty I was still rinsing my mouth eight hours later, and the sausages were bland and cheap. Everything seemed designed to cut costs, even the orange juice was watered down and tasted like cheap squash.
