The bungalows are lovely, surrounded by beautiful gardens right next to a quiet white‑sand beach with rock pools to explore. You can catch the bus from the main road down to the market. However, moving around the island can be tough because transport options are limited, and there aren’t many shops or restaurants nearby.

The location is unbeatable! Jean Marc and Veronique were amazing hosts, a fire burned every night, the food was delicious, and they’re always so friendly. The shower stayed hot for me, which is key on this very rural island. They’ve done a fantastic job with the gardens, and the solar‑battery power can be a bit spotty when it’s overcast, but I still had full cell reception. Their pets are also very friendly, and they’ve recently renovated, so many of the photos don’t do the bungalows justice. Honestly, nothing to complain about—everything was perfect, from the feel to the food, beach, and birds.

The accommodation is simple and has no frills, but it’s right on the beach and offers electricity and hot showers (though only at certain times). Food options like fish curry and veggie stir‑fry were tasty and very reasonably priced, and breakfast was included.
