“A peaceful and beautiful honeymoon stay — we truly loved it and would happily come back soon.”
We stayed here for our honeymoon and had a really nice time. The beach was clean and quiet, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sunsets. Dinner was great, good food and a nice atmosphere every night. Breakfast was also very good, with lots of options and a great way to start the day. Overall the place felt calm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly. Glad we chose this for our honeymoon. The special honeymoon dinner could have been better – the menu felt a bit limited compared to the regular dinners. The beach cinema was a nice idea, but it wasn’t exactly on the open beach as we expected from the pictures and description – it was set up in a more enclosed area, so slightly different than what we had in mind.
The nature here is gorgeous, simple yet comfortable, and the island feels authentic. The staff are efficient and very kind, and the underwater scenery is stunning—everything is perfect, and we’ll definitely return! On day two, the water in front of our bungalow wasn’t as clean as one would expect in the Maldives. They said it was currents, but I think that needs a bit of review; it shouldn’t be overlooked.
“Will come back!”
We really enjoy this place—this is our fifth visit. The environment is very natural and relaxing, and the resort doesn’t intrude on the island’s beauty. Nothing major to complain about, though it’s clear the hotel is aging in some spots and a few extra renovations would be welcome, but please keep it in the same spirit.
“Paradies sowohl für aktive als auch ruhesuchende Menschen”
The barefoot island feels incredibly natural and stylish, and you can swim there no matter the tide or wind direction—always possible on one side of the island. The gym is well equipped, which mattered to us. Food is superb and varied, often prepared fresh right before you with friendly chefs. We were pleased to find many non‑alcoholic cocktails, though there was no non‑alcoholic beer. Service was excellent. Right by the beach, you can spot fish, occasional rays, and even turtles. Our water villa was spacious, stylishly furnished, spotless, and we received fresh drinking water regularly. Great news: no mosquitoes, so we slept on an open terrace. The sunset bar is unforgettable.
“Awesome stay in a jungle paradise.”
We’re on our second Maldives holiday and this place blew us away with its beauty—it’s pure paradise. The buffet is exceptional; don’t get me wrong, not everything is flawless and there were a few letdowns, but overall it’s great. For breakfast, they cook eggs exactly how you want them right before you, and the same goes for pancakes, waffles, or crêpes. The sushi is absolutely awesome, and the pasta is delightful because they prepare the sauces right in front of you with your preferred ingredients. We stayed in the Deluxe villa with a small pond in front, had room service twice a day, and free still water delivered whenever we asked. The beach area was a personal slice of sand, separated by jungle on both sides. The furniture is a bit dated, but everything is clean, intact, comfortable, and sturdy—exactly what we liked, adding to the island’s natural, down‑to‑earth charm. The island is all connected by sand paths; there’s no pavement, so slippers are almost unnecessary. Walking through the jungle, you rarely encounter anyone. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel like the center of the island, with Udari always welcoming us, Naswan helping adjust our plans to stay longer, Abdullah and Rosalie arranging a fantastic turtle snorkeling trip, and the rest of the team at the turtle rehabilitation center being awesome. The snorkeling itself offers plenty to see around the island. Occasionally a meal didn’t match my taste, but that’s normal.
