“Una experiencia inaceptable que puso en riesgo nuestra seguridad”

I had the worst experience of my life with my husband at the Hotel Princesa Toa on February 11th. We arrived around 9:30 PM, and despite the late hour, we were told we could still access the included dinner in our reservation. While we were in the communal dining area, my husband went to our room to retrieve a forgotten charger and found a person inside our room without permission, with the lights off, the lock engaged from the inside, and hiding next to the bed.

Our stay at this hotel was great, with a very spacious room and an exceptional location. The dinner and breakfast were also excellent. However, the heating was insufficient, which made our stay a bit uncomfortable.

“Bene ma non benissimo”

Quilotoa has limited structures, so you need to be flexible. The staff was very friendly, and the owner speaks English, which is not common in Ecuador. The hotel has a restaurant right in front, and dinner was included in our stay. Our room was quite large, but unfortunately, it was heated with an electric stove that only provided localized warmth. The access to the Quilotoa lake is right across the street.
