Breakfast was solid, the room was huge (we had a 105 m² one, so big), and the owner was super friendly. The garden was lovely, though a few leaves fell because of the drought. The natural pool was perfect. The downside? The place isn’t totally quiet – you hear cars and even a plane. The owner was still raking leaves at 7:30 p.m., which bothered us on the balcony. Better to do that work during the day when guests are gone. If you’re in Sint‑Niklaas, spend the day exploring Ghent, Mechelen, etc.

The host was warm, everything ran smoothly, and the gardens were beautiful and well kept. Breakfast was generous, and the room was spacious and cozy. The only thing that kept me from giving an 11/10 was that the rating system capped at 10.
