Standing above the British battle line, this place is unbeatable for anyone interested in the Battle of Waterloo, and both breakfast and dinner were very good; however, the bath mat was missing and the floor of the bath was quite slippery.

If you’re into the battle or a walking tour, this spot can’t be beat; the breakfast was very good and the dinner I had was exceptional. I’ve stayed here before and remember it much better, with a better room, and this time I felt cramped and hot, plus there’s no fridge to store drinks in. The staff weren’t that interested, and I was looking forward to going back but felt a bit uncomfortable when I arrived.

Le lit était confortable, la chambre très spacieuse et très propre, et l’emplacement était parfait pour mon séminaire. Le petit déjeuner était varié et équilibré, et le personnel très agréable. La salle de bain doit être améliorée : les rideaux de douche sont démodés, le radiateur électrique ne respecte pas les normes, et le gel douche pourrait être meilleur.

The location is great, just in front of the Waterloo museum and battlefield, but the rooms are a bit small.

Location can’t be beat. Very quite at night. Poor quality breakfast. Too few plugs; had to choose between TV and fan. No AC so fan won
