The hotel is a nice modern spot near the state capitol, and they were quick to fix our bathroom door upon arrival, which we appreciated. Most of the staff were friendly and gave us good restaurant and cafe recommendations. Parking options nearby exist if you don’t want to use the valet service. The hotel isn’t very sustainable; the paper cups in rooms were individually wrapped in plastic and felt cheap. There is a coffee machine in the room but no real mugs or water glasses. The glasses on tables at breakfast were dirty. We couldn’t use the laundry service when we arrived, and although there is also a laundromat on site for a fee, you have to purchase washing powder on top of that, but they were out of it. The receptionist didn’t seem to care; we were told to go to a shop and had to buy a whole pack to do one load of washing.

“Almost 2 thumbs up!”

I loved almost everything: the bar, the location, and most of the staff. I asked the valet guy if our vehicle would be secure because we had a $300 cooler in it and wanted to know if it would be safe to leave it in the back. He assured us it would be very safe on the 6th floor of the parking garage, but it was left by the street with homeless people and everyone else walking down the street could take it if they wanted. Fortunately no one took it or anything in it, but I didn’t appreciate being lied to.

Everything was great and highly recommended! Parking can be done in a nearby garage for about 25-30usd per night. Delightful.
