“A hidden gem in Moshi”
The place was amazing, not far from central Moshi, with a comfortable room and a beautiful, relaxing garden that made me feel at home. Joseph and Jacinta were incredibly kind and helpful, and they connected us with a great guide to explore Materuni. The breakfast was excellent, thanks to Joseph! Everything was perfect.
“Chilled and comfortable place with manicured garden”
We had a great stay at Barazani Garden House. The property is large, modern, and well organised, and our room had an ensuite toilet and bathroom that were very clean and well presented. We slept comfortably on a good mattress. It was handy to have a washing machine. We enjoyed relaxing on the large terrace, and in the evening the staff lit a fire for us while an onsite chef cooked a delicious meal of fried bananas and meat. The area is close to the town centre, quiet, and relaxed. I would recommend the property to anyone looking for a good value place to recharge from all the hustle and bustle of travel in Africa. Nothing to note. Everything was great.
“Excellent stays for unforgettable experience”
I arrived earlier than the usual check‑in time and the staff welcomed me immediately, offering various payment options that helped me out when my debit card was problematic, and they even paid for my bus‑stand transport on departure. The hotel is very close to the CBD and spotless, and the breakfast was delicious—this place will feel like home whenever I visit Moshi. Nothing was lacking; everything was perfect.
“A hidden gem. Absolutely outstanding. A truly unforgettable stay.”
The hosts were warm, the rooms spotless, and the atmosphere peaceful and welcoming. The hospitality was impeccable. Everything was perfect.
Ben, Joseph, Emma and the guy who washed our shoes, plus the kindness of everyone while we were in an unfamiliar place and running the Kilimanjaro marathon, really lifted our spirits; the beautiful courtyard, the tastefully arranged furnishings, and the soothing facilities made for a comforting stay.
