The lodge itself had decent facilities, but a strong sewage odor outside ruined the hot tub and outdoor experience, which was why we had booked. We contacted staff a few hours after arrival and spoke to Simon, who seemed skeptical, promised to check but never showed up or followed up. Loud music from other guests also spoiled the peaceful outdoors advertised.

The property was stunning, clean, spacious, and the hot tub was a real treat; waking up to the lake view was wonderful. However, the single beds had cheaper mattresses that were quite uncomfortable and were not full‑size singles.
