Cozy, family‑run ramen shop in traditional Japanese style. For guests, there are 4 rooms on the second floor. We got a spacious room with excellent views of the Happo‑one slope. It’s a 7‑minute walk from the bus stop and Happo center. The hosts are always ready to help. Breakfast can be ordered: eggs, toast, granola, tea, coffee. Unfortunately, we couldn’t try the noodles because they’re made only twice a week in the evenings and need to be booked in advance. We weren’t quite disciplined enough to do so.

“If you’re in happo, stay here.”

The owners were super friendly and even drove us to Happo bus station after we checked out. The hotel sits just a 7‑minute walk from the station, where you can hop onto buses to Nagano or other ski spots. There’s a ton of great food around, including the on‑site soba shop downstairs, which we ate at on Tuesday and Friday. The room was spacious and comfy, with everything you’d need. The heater was a bit warm, but that’s fine in winter. The curtains let in a lot of light that can wake you up, and the rooms aren’t fully soundproof, so you can hear neighbors—though that’s not a problem if they’re considerate.

The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming. The stay was comfortable, and our room offered a stunning mountain view. I’d definitely recommend their dinner service—the soba was amazing! I’ll be back for sure.

It’s very close to Happo mountain and the bus stop for other peaks, and you’re within walking distance of restaurants and convenience stores. The staff were very accommodating, helpful, and friendly.

“Great location in Hakuba”

Spotlessly clean, great location, and good value. The couple who run it and the soba shop below are some of the kindest, most helpful people I’ve met. The beds were firm but comfortable, and everything else was great.
