The hotel fell short of any 4‑star standard; the facilities were incompatible with what was advertised. The environment was dirty, the pool was non‑functional, the AC didn’t work, there was no hair dryer, the bathroom was filthy, and the bed linen was very dirty.

The location was great—just a block from the city center and a lovely beach across the street—and the room itself was pretty large and spacious. The reception staff were polite, and Shavina was especially helpful in getting my room ready early. Unfortunately, the room wasn’t clean; large ants were running around and mosquitoes were present. I asked the room‑service person to clean and add extra water, tipped him, but he never showed up and my room was never cleaned.

Everything was fine except for the swimming pool, which had quite a few birds. I understand the staff can’t control them, but we wished the pool had been cleaned more often while guests were there.

The location is good, but when we arrived the staff pretended they had no idea about our booking. After showing our confirmed reservation, the manager gave us a barrage of contradictory excuses, claiming no rooms were available. We had to explain our rights as guests, and eventually he offered us a room that he said was meant for the reptilian hall’s changing area. With no other choice, we accepted, and they upgraded us to a deluxe room for the same price.
