We received a room upgrade at the same price, which was great. Breakfast was excellent with a wide selection, and a child’s chair was provided for our daughter. The playground was very outdated and many parts needed renovation. The path to get there was a long gravel road (and at the time we were there there was also construction, making it even harder to reach).

Other guests were friendly, and the stay still felt quite private. There was a nice shared lounge where we could sit together, eat, and have breakfast, and books were available for guests to read, which was a nice touch. However, the final price was more than €10 higher than the listed price, and we didn’t get a clear explanation for the difference. Our room could not be locked, which was uncomfortable from a security standpoint. In one of our two rooms, there were many spiders that emerged during the stay. Only two showers were available for the whole house, which was difficult for our group of nine people. The toilets and bathrooms were not very clean, with hair and general dirt visible in several places. The restaurant closes around 9 PM, so arriving later means you may not get food or drinks. The location is remote, and depending on the route you may need to drive about 30 km on rough or unpaved roads to reach it.

The breakfast here is truly incomparable, with a wide variety of styles that are also very tasty, and the value for money is excellent because the room price includes the breakfast. The owner and staff are very responsible, keeping everything very clean and making the stay very comfortable. Even though the bathrooms are shared, they are kept very clean.

The restaurant serves good food, and the staff are friendly and helpful, with good Wi‑Fi. However, getting there and the road quality require a lot of patience and a car with good suspension, and there is no TV and the pillow quality is dramatic.
