The landlady was extremely tidy and the price‑performance ratio was excellent. The dining area was outside, covered but sometimes chilly, and the kitchen was sized for two apartments.

“Toll für Kinder sehr empfehlenswert!”

We stayed briefly at the place; the hosts were very friendly and helpful, the accommodation was spotless and fully equipped. The location is great if driving, with plenty to see nearby, and the grounds offer lots for kids—many play structures, a sandbox, etc. The downside is that there are animals on the property; you can only watch them, kids can’t feed or pet them. The morning rolls of bread were reheated, not fresh.

Breakfast was lovely, with everything daily stocked in the fridge, plenty of rolls, and you could make your own breakfast—great for a child. The apartment itself is nice, has everything you need, even toys for the kids and a nice covered balcony if the apartment is on the roof. The yard has animals you can look at, pet, and if you wish, feed with the owners. The garden also has a lot of play equipment for children (trampoline, swing, seesaw, soccer goal, sandbox, climbing frame), and bicycles can be borrowed on site. The only thing to know beforehand is that it’s a shared kitchen with the other apartment; each has a small fridge but the rest is communal. That wasn’t mentioned in the description, but we were lucky to be the only ones in the house, so there was nothing to criticize.

Breakfast was fine, the baker was on the opposite side but unfortunately there were no fresh rolls on Sunday; we ended up with the Friday ones. The heating was off.

The family running the place was incredibly kind, and we lacked nothing. They also provided bicycles suitable for two adults and two children.
