The reception was full of kindness from Sonia. The room had charm, the place was clean, the bedding was good, and the garden was lovely. The only drawback was that the breakfast had a bit of salty items (cheese and charcuterie) and not enough fresh fruit.

The garden cottage was gorgeous, right on the road yet surprisingly quiet. The room was exquisitely styled and the facilities modern. The bed was comfy and the bathroom spotless. The host was friendly and showed us all the amenities. Breakfast was excellent, especially the croissants and coffee, and the jam and yogurt were delicious. The farm‑style restaurant the host recommended was reliable, and the remote‑controlled gate for our car was a real convenience. The only downside was the entrance gate on the road, usually closed, with a tiny, hard‑to‑see sign beside the well; it’s easy to miss when driving. A larger, clearer sign would help. Everything else was perfect.

“Rustiek”

We were lucky to find this beautiful spot on our trip south. Parking inside the fence was allowed and Sonia welcomed us warmly. The room was stunningly authentic and had air‑conditioning. The nearby restaurant L'Étape Gourmande was a nice find, offering a reasonable price for a lovely French dinner under the trees. Breakfast was flawless, with various fresh jams and homemade‑style yogurt. We left feeling refreshed and ready to keep going.
