The hotel sits on a side street, but when I checked in there was no hot water. The room was tiny, lacked a desk, and had a hole in the wall beside the desk. It was very warm, and the reception faced the front door, so they could see anyone who walked in. Food was unavailable, the shower floor was dirty, the pillows were uncomfortable, and overall it was WAY TOO EXPENSIVE.

The place is in a perfect spot—just a short walk from the train station yet still quite quiet. We slept with the windows shut, though we could still hear some faint outside noise; the room’s AC kept the air flowing. The bed was amazing, we slept like babies. The area is full of shops for anything you might need, and there’s a luggage storage service and bike rental nearby. The room has enough space for two people and their luggage. The bathroom, however, was the worst part: the shower looked dirty—maybe just limescale, but still unclean—so we bought slippers and avoided it. The sink was tiny and poorly aligned with the cabinet, making brushing teeth or washing face a splash‑prone chore. Overall, the bathroom had very little space. The toilet was okay and clean, but it didn’t feel very comfortable or tidy.

The location was good and they offered free coffee. The mattress was stained and the room faced the street.

There was no breakfast, but a tea/coffee machine was available at all times. The lift could fit two people with small luggage. We booked a small double on a tight schedule, and the receptionist offered an upgrade to a larger room, which we appreciated. The train station was a short walk away (about 10‑15 minutes for slow walkers). Plenty of nearby spots to eat and drink. I’d book again. The City View didn’t deter us, though we could see rooftops and the backs of other buildings.
