The place was filthy, and I had booked a room for four people and paid online, yet when I arrived they said no rooms were available—only a room for ten—so I cancelled and have been waiting for a refund that never arrived. The place was too dirty, smelled bad, the staff were unprofessional, and they stole my money because I paid online before arriving, then I cancelled and still haven’t gotten my money back.

The staff were friendly and approachable, but be sure to watch your belongings since you’re sharing the room with a stranger; bring a padlock if you’re staying a while.

It’s close to the heart of Makati and the price was actually very low, but there were no showers, no wifi, no functioning toilet—you have to do it the old school from the sink.
