The accommodation is especially lovingly designed with many decorations and beautiful furnishings, truly extraordinary. The beds upstairs are reached by a staircase. It is a bit tight, but completely fine for people who don’t mind walking. A private parking spot is available, and in the nearby town of Meppel there are many restaurants. Also, Giethoorn, an interesting attraction in the region, is only a few kilometres by car. For us, the location was perfect: away from the tourist crowds yet not far from them. There was nothing I didn’t like.
