“Péssima”
The front desk staff were the only bright spot, always ready to fix the issues I raised on arrival, yet the place turned out to be an apart‑hotel rather than a true hotel; my apartment didn’t match the photos, I had to walk through an uncovered area to reach reception while it was raining, the electric showers and blankets were of terrible quality, one air‑conditioner unit wouldn’t heat and the other lacked an extension cord, and despite paying for a double room I was alone because no single rooms were available, forcing me to look for another hotel in town. After failing to get a room at Hotel Ijuí (which I recommend) I returned to the sub‑standard City Hotel Ijuí; the only positive was the receptionist who did everything possible to sort the AC extension and provide a better blanket. I was told that simple rooms are priced very cheaply, which attracts many business travelers, and since I had prepaid I had no choice but to stay, otherwise I would have sought cheaper lodging elsewhere.
