“overall it was a nice hotel and we had a great time! definitely thinking about coming back.”
The location and room were nice, but the pancake maker was broken and the fire alarms went off at 5 am.
“TV in Spanish”
The hotel is close to a great breakfast spot, but the TV was set to Spanish and the staff couldn't switch it to English.
We loved the beachfront location, the free wood for fire pits, and the grills available for cooking. However, the owner promised an “upgrade” that actually turned out to be a downgrade; the AC unit failed but was replaced quickly. The hot tub was out of order, and other guests kept opening the pool house doors, making it uncomfortably cold. The only reason we chose this place was for the hot tub, and the chemicals ended up turning the water a bleached‑hair green. The toilet seat was oddly oval for a round toilet, which felt awkward for the guys.
“Never will go back to this place and I will tell my friends to avoid.”
The beach was good, but the manager was extremely rude, charged my account twice, and I had to fight to get the extra charge refunded while my credit union filed a grievance against her for her continued rudeness; the room and hallway doors were filthy.
