The setting of the Quinta da Paz is calm and relaxing, the tents are very beautiful and comfortable, and Léa and Pedro are extremely welcoming and give great advice for exploring the area and its activities, such as the charming little village of San Luis below the quinta or the nearby beaches and rivers for swimming and surfing; the breakfasts and homemade juices are delicious.

The welcome was friendly and warm, and the whole experience felt different from our usual routine. Inside the tent, the interior was carefully arranged, giving a slightly adventurous vibe, and the toilet area was thoughtfully designed. Getting to the site was tricky and would benefit from clear signs from the city center. The close proximity of neighboring tents and the owners’ house slightly reduced the privacy we expected. The site is still new and could improve its outdoor lighting. Breakfast prices felt a bit high compared to other places, and the nightly tent rate seemed disproportionate.

I had an amazing time staying with this lovely couple, who are clearly passionate about their project. They went out of their way to make me feel welcome and gave me top-notch advice on the local area. The silence and sense of disconnection from the outside world were a real treat. My only criticism is that the place is still a work in progress, so the facilities and common areas could use some improvement. However, considering the price, I think it's a bit steep.
