“Good for the price”
The rooms are newly renovated, spotless, and the air conditioning works well; having a kettle and fridge in the room is a nice touch. The owner supplied helpful info on Petra for planning our days, and the price is fair for a day’s stay. However, the setup is odd: it’s on the lower level of an apartment building with a very unwelcoming entrance. The room is tiny, and you can hear the owners walking upstairs—especially in shoes—on the floor above. If you don’t have a car, the location isn’t great; the steep downhill (and uphill) to Petra and downtown restaurants makes getting around a challenge. Wi‑Fi was weak, and our mobile signal was no better.
