The location is great, close to the water, and there’s a nice walk to Etatrat. The outdoor areas are pleasant and the hosts are very helpful. Unfortunately, we were all severely bothered by ants every evening. The hosts helped us daily to get rid of them and had never seen this before in the house, but it did spoil part of the experience.

The setting is gorgeous and the garden is lovingly maintained; the décor is impeccable and Guillaume is a fantastic host. The only downside is that the beds could be a bit wider, and the humidity felt a little high, probably because of some rain.

The surroundings are quiet and beautiful, and the beach and nearby villages are easily reachable. A detailed written guide to local attractions would make it even better.

I’ve traveled a lot through Booking, but rarely have I found a place that I liked as much! The building that houses the accommodation is part of a traditional Norman architectural ensemble, and the entire estate has incredible charm. It alone makes the Manoir worth staying in. The exterior is full of charming little details. The surrounding villas are equally amazing, and the almost secret beach is just a 10‑minute walk away. The equipment works well and the interior is comfortable; you can even fire a fire in the fireplace.
