“Hytten var OK til overnatning, men ikke til ophold.”

I liked the convenient spot and the calm surroundings, and the bathroom was really nice with a great shower cabin. But the place was tiny, the kitchenette was useless, I couldn’t climb the ladder and the mattress up there was awful. So it really only fit two people, not four as advertised. The sofa bed worked, but it was a hassle to set up with so little room because of the two armchairs.

It was small but lovely, and we felt very comfortable. Hazel, the host, was super friendly. We’re looking forward to the new tiny restaurant that Kenneth is building. The only downside was that there was no outlet in the bathroom.

The hosts were very nice, the glass house was great, and the view of the lake was fantastic. The second mattress had to be assembled, which made the living space cramped and hard to move around.

The welcome was excellent and the lady was sweet. The location is great, and the garden offers a beautiful view. It’s a shame you can’t see that from the cabin itself. The cabin is really small. Downstairs there’s an IKEA pull‑out bed that’s uncomfortable, and it’s not nice to lie on it with two people. We weren’t told that the staircase to the upper floor had to be pulled out, so it was almost stuck against the wall. Getting up there was a huge challenge. On the upper floor there are two separate mattresses on the floor, and they’re very thin. So besides the tight climb, the mattresses on the floor aren’t comfortable either.

The new winter garden on the hill beside the hut offers a wonderful view while you have breakfast.
