The location is great and the incredibly friendly welcome was a highlight. I found nothing else to note.

“Compleet, gastvriendelijk verblijf in mooie omgeving”

We stayed in a fully furnished studio with a large bed and enough living space, even under a slanted roof. All essentials were there: coffee, tea, and a bathrobe. It was warm, so we left the air‑con off; the temperature was pleasant, especially at night when we slept with the big window open and woke to a forest view. The reception was warm and included a drink. We bought breakfast, which was more than enough—very complete and fresh. The spot is ideal, just a 5‑minute bike ride from Heemskerk and also close to the dunes. I was there with a friend, so privacy mattered more; the semi‑open toilet felt a bit awkward. Showering in the large bathroom wasn’t my preference, and I’d suggest a partition to reduce the need for mopping. The entrance to the B&B (without the “B” for breakfast, by the way) goes through the owner’s private garage. It’s not a problem, but it doesn’t feel entirely contactless.

I booked this place for my parents and they were absolutely delighted. It’s a very nice spot—super clean, spacious, and fully equipped. They were greeted warmly with a drink and a delicious slice of homemade apple pie. There were plenty of towels, plus coffee, tea, honey, and other little extras. The host was very friendly and communication was smooth and pleasant. The large parking lot was a big plus. My parents felt very comfortable and would definitely stay again! 😊

“Rundum Zufriedenheit”

We were very warmly received and given excellent information about the area and current events. For those seeking peace, this place delivers 100% quiet. Saying goodbye after just three days was hard, and we’ll return for sure—definitely clear. Thank you so much, Margareth, you’re a truly kind person ❤️

The hosts were very nice and straightforward. The accommodation is large, has everything you need, and is a great base for bike tours.
