The room was cute, the terrace lovely, the place clean, and the staff were kind. Nothing was wrong—everything was good!
The banana pancakes at breakfast were delicious, and coffee and tea were available anytime. I was a bit confused at first because the sign listed the hotel name as “Thavisouk guest house,” so I wondered if it was the right place.
The location is good and the staff are super friendly. The rooms were dark and not very clean—old soap from previous guests was left in the sink, hair was everywhere, and there was a lot of dust under the bed.
I liked how close the hotel is to the Niger market—just a 10‑minute walk—and the breakfasts were good. The staff were friendly, and we were lucky to get rooms that opened onto the terrace, though I can't say how it would feel in a different room. The on‑site laundry was handy. The only downside was that some tourists made noise in the middle of the night, which isn’t the hotel’s fault.
