On arrival I got a message asking me to send a WhatsApp for the self‑check‑in pin, which was hard because I had no signal; thanks to some very helpful folks, I finally managed to check in late that night. The fridge door was a bit of a hassle. Breakfast was available at a nearby restaurant about 5 minutes away starting at 9 am, offering a cup of coffee and a menu like Italian with bruschetta and egg on toast, but it didn’t fill me up; extra coffee had to be paid for.

The location, air conditioning, fridge, and rustic vibe were all good; breakfast was included and within walking distance, and there’s a bar right nearby. The broken water tap that we were told would be fixed never actually got repaired.

I liked my room and felt comfortable there; it even had cooking utensils, and the harbor view was fantastic. Everything was within walking distance, and the breakfast at Riva, about 5 minutes away, was a nice touch. If you’re looking for absolute quiet, this isn’t the place—Rovinj is lively, and the room’s central spot means you’ll feel the bustle around you. In the mornings and late evenings it’s totally peaceful.
