The location below the mountain, with a dam and valley views, was great. We had a good breakfast upstairs in the main house and everything we needed was there. The property is far from a busy road, so we felt very safe. A morning walk brought fresh air, and the owners live on site, so help was always available. The setting has a farm‑like feel. The lawns in front were ruined by wild pigs, but we didn’t see them and it didn’t spoil our countryside stay.

Jo & Bruce, thank you so much for a lovely stay. Opening your home to me and my mom made our visit truly special. I don’t think you realize how much I appreciated your kindness. This weekend marked the first anniversary of my dad’s passing from cancer, and despite the tough emotions, you made us feel at home and honored him.
