A cozy two‑bedroom place with a private roof terrace that lets you see the city, the sea, and Etna. The surprise was that the living room was shared with another unit, so we probably read the description poorly. The host was helpful and gave solid restaurant tips.

The apartment sits in a strategic spot, just a 15‑minute walk from the center, and the underground parking is free! It’s tastefully and simply furnished. The terrace offers a lovely 360‑degree view of Catania, perfect for sipping a drink in the evening.

The biggest advantage of apartment 1 is the rooftop terrace. Getting to it takes a bit of effort, but the view really pays off. During our week‑long stay the breeze was gentle all the time, making even high temperatures more comfortable (the only annoyance was the loud water pump that starts whenever someone turns on the tap). A big plus is the ample parking around, though finding a spot can take a moment depending on the time of day. This place lets you truly feel the vibe of real Sicily. The apartment keeps a beautiful old stone mosaic floor that gives it a special character. The kitchen is well equipped, the place is very clean, and both rooms have air conditioning. The bathroom could make a better first impression. The shower has a worn‑out valve that looks pretty used. Hot water usually took a while to arrive. During our stay we received one set of linens and only two towels, which is definitely too few for such temperatures. Getting into the apartment is somewhat troublesome because you need three different keys along the way. The stairwell is very narrow, almost claustrophobic; traveling with large suitcases means you have to go one after another.

“Für 5 Nächte und 2 Personen um Catania zu erkunden empfehlenswert!”

Everything you need is there, very clean, good bed! 15 minutes on foot to the center! The stairs are very steep and narrow, making it tiring with a suitcase. The coffee machine tabs had to be bought at a specialty coffee shop.
