We had an extremely pleasant stay in this tastefully designed historic mill house off the beaten road; Sarah prepared and served our breakfast, making it both delicious and beautifully presented, and we enjoyed the ground floor for a fun time with an enlarged family; Sarah was easy to communicate with before arrival, check‑in was smooth, and we’ll definitely return.

The location is great, the rooms are very clean and beautifully designed with care and coziness, making it a fantastic winter getaway; the in‑room electric fireplace is a nice touch, though the beds could be more comfortable.

I appreciated the attention to detail in this hotel, which was evident in the well-equipped rooms, complete with Nespresso machines. Its location made it an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Blueridge Mountains. However, I did notice that there was no one around during my stay, which I attributed to traveling during the off-season. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
