The reception welcomed us nicely and gave us great info about the city and surroundings. The central spot is close to pastelaria and cafés, and the room was comfortable with a bathroom. The stunning Museu de Arte Sacra de Aveiro was a highlight.

We were greeted warmly and the place is super dog‑friendly, with no surprise fees. The garden is lovely and walking to the main sights is a breeze.

We couldn’t stay because the hosts left us hanging; they didn’t answer the phone or reply to messages, so we were left on the street. That night I had to sleep in the car.
