Amador City feels like a quiet retreat, but after the Christmas holiday there were hardly any rooms left, so the stay was great yet limited. The staff were awesome and accommodating, though we missed the restaurant in the evening and the breakfast options were subpar—granola ran out and only a croissant and coffee were left. Still, everyone was friendly and the service was good, so I’ll definitely return at another time to enjoy more.

The room was terrific, with clean linens and a very tidy space. The only downside was the lack of a TV; otherwise, everything was fine, and I really liked it.
