The staff were outstanding, handling everything from our 4:30 am arrival to our departure without any hassle. The food was superb and the rooms enormous. Breakfast or dinner with a lake view gave us plenty to admire. Nothing was lacking, and it surpassed my expectations.

A six‑bed boutique hotel with excellent service and food for both breakfast and dinner. The pool is nice, and although it’s a bit remote, it was perfect for our first two nights in Sri Lanka. The guided walk to the nearby Buddhist temple and the free cycle ride are highly recommended; tips are welcome but not required.

The staff were exceptionally attentive, the location gorgeous, and the rooms extremely comfortable and spacious. The food was the best we’ve had in Sri Lanka. We stayed for two nights at the end of our trip, and the photos don’t do this place justice. There was nothing to fault.

The staff were very attentive, the spot beside the lake is beautiful, and the food was great. Unfortunately, jet lag hit hard and we only had one night, so we couldn’t enjoy it as much as we’d have liked. We would have stayed longer if we had more time.

We only spent a single night there – the last one before heading home – and it felt far too brief. The place is wonderful, the staff are all equally attentive and take their time to pamper you. Kuma answered every question, showed us the vegetable‑fruit garden and even dried some curry leaves for me; the food was delicious and the atmosphere in both the hotel and the room was lovely. We’d love to return, preferably at the start of a future trip. Thanks a lot!
