The host was incredibly kind—after years of traveling both domestically and abroad, I’ve never felt so touched. I’ll share this joy on my personal page because I hope future guests at Aoi Ryokan will be gentle, kind, and considerate travelers, honoring the owner’s warmth and enthusiasm. The house follows standard Nara architecture, is fully equipped, and the room feels cozy; it’s a place where anyone can leave feeling completely refreshed. The only minor downside is that it gets a bit dark in the evening; it’s best to arrive before dark. If you must go, avoid walking along the riverbank as it feels a bit scary. Nonetheless, a warm light will always greet you at the inn.
