“貼心停車方便”
Before arriving they called to turn on the air‑conditioning for me, which was a thoughtful touch on such a hot day, and I really didn’t have any complaints.
The lighting and air‑conditioning in the room worked well, and the bathroom’s drainage and exhaust fan were also decent, though the hair‑dryer was a wall‑mounted push‑type that was safe but a bit awkward to move around.
It’s about a 20‑30‑minute walk to the “back” Hualien train station and there are hospitals and schools nearby, so getting around and finding food is easy; the window view shows layered mountains shrouded in mist, which is beautiful, quiet and comfortable, the windows open, have screens and are very clean; the owner and front‑desk staff were warm and helpful, even offering a QR‑code for ride‑hailing; the air‑conditioner can switch to heating and the bathroom’s shower, tap, hangers and other fixtures all work well. I only have a few minor suggestions: the hallway inside the room feels narrow, a wall‑mounted shower head would make rinsing easier (the current one sprays too far and sometimes outside), and the bathroom lacks a wet‑dry separation (there’s a curtain, but water pools on the floor after a shower and the sink area also gets wet, though it dries fairly quickly by morning).
“很不錯”
The place was pretty clean, and the mountain view from the window was beautiful.
The place offers a parking space and an elevator, and the staff were friendly, but the fixtures felt dated, the toilet lacked a wet‑dry separation and dirty water would back up to the doorway, there was no shoe rack right inside the room, the room itself was small, the bed was hard and wobbly, and the neighbor’s movements made it feel like an earthquake.
