“A great place to stay”

Getting here was a breeze and the restaurants nearby were convenient; the pool was spotless and never crowded, and the staff were exceptionally friendly.

“Avoid”

Leaving the hotel was a relief, but I waited over an hour for the shuttle bus, which was confusing and lacked any information. When I finally called to let them know where I was, I was told it would take 20 minutes, yet it actually took more than an hour. If I had known the real time, I would have taken a taxi or even cancelled my booking. A farifield shuttle bus passed me without stopping, and I was told this happened because rain at the airport caused a backlog. It’s clear this will happen often, so they need more frequent shuttles or a larger van (this one was tiny). Other hotels’ shuttles arrived and left without any delays; nobody waited more than 10 minutes. They should provide this information at the time of booking instead of making guests call for it, which only affects those staying near the airport. The signal was also poor because I was in a concrete underground area, so the hotel couldn’t hear my location. The rooms were outdated and the bed felt like springs. I can’t believe Marriott would put its name on this. There were also cockroaches in the room. Breakfast was not worth the price; it consisted of a few cereals and scrambled eggs.

The shuttle service to and from the hotel was quick, and there were plenty of good restaurants nearby. I can’t find anything I don’t like about this hotel; the rate is good and the location is great.
