The place is good. The location, the value for money, and the cleaning could be better.
The view was nice. Parking is a problem because people knock at night to ask you to move their cars. There’s no soap, towels or blankets.

The room was good with nice AC. Having a dining area was a big plus. No bedsheets or towels were provided in the room.

“Confortable stay in the city line resort”
We had a wonderful stay at Rathna Holiday Resort in Kataragama. The location is excellent—just a few minutes' walk to Kataragama Town and the Kataragama Dewalaya. Restaurants are nearby, and Detagamuwa Wewa is also within walking distance, making it very convenient to explore the area. The hotel is close to the main road, so it’s easy to access while still offering a peaceful and beautiful setting. The room location was lovely, and the service was very good throughout our stay. A special thanks to the young manager at the property for his friendly hospitality and excellent service. He made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend Rathna Holiday Resort to anyone visiting Kataragama. We will definitely be back on our next visit! No complaints. Suggestions – please try to arrange towels and basic tea amenities in the rooms.
