The room was somewhat clean and comfortable, except for a small spider. The value for money isn’t great; it’s close to city hotel rates and we still had to make our own bed.

I liked the location, accessibility, and the free parking. Breakfast was simple but acceptable. When we arrived at the breakfast restaurant, it was locked; if breakfast is sold, guests should be let in. It got sorted out – we slipped in with staff, who, luckily, were working over the weekend. Check all the hinges in Vällaren; they squeak terribly.
