The food at the restaurant was good and the staff were friendly. The sheets on one of the beds hadn’t been changed – we found sheets in a cupboard and replaced them ourselves. When we reported it to staff there wasn’t much of a response. The owner was friendly but he overshared some details of his life stories.

A charming historic inn in Staunton, easy parking and a good spot. But the décor was all over the place and furniture was mismatched everywhere. We asked for two beds because we’re not a couple, yet the second bed was a child’s mattress with a plastic cover that made it impossible to sleep. The owner offered a separate room free of charge, but it was uncomfortable and not clean. The bathroom was also not very clean. They served Thai breakfast, but we couldn’t eat it because of allergies and they had run out of toast. The proprietor was loud and impatient, the keypad on the door didn’t work well, and the property seemed poorly maintained.
