The spot is spot-on—great location and the staff were super welcoming. The only downside was the bathroom, which felt a bit Spartan and left me wanting more. All in all, a solid stay if you’re not fussed about the shower.

If you’re a backpacker or trekker, this place is the go‑to. Four‑bed dorms, a shared kitchen, a chill lounge, and a terrace overlooking the Beagle Channel—everything you need, and it’s all walkable to Puerto Williams. The catch? I’m not the typical hostel crowd and I really value a private room with a bathroom, so paying €45 felt a bit steep, especially when a comparable room in Punta Arenas was €33.

The cat was adorable and the views of the canal and mountains were stunning—definitely a highlight. Unfortunately, the French and German volunteers who welcomed me were a bit rude, which put a damper on the experience. Still, the scenery more than made up for it.

I found the place very comfortable and tranquil, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. The only thing that nudged me was the price—it felt a touch high for what you get.

The common area is incredibly cozy, beautifully decorated, and full of stories to share. However, since it’s also the host’s home, the kitchen is shared and it’s hard to keep the hospitality separate from privacy. On top of that, the heating doesn’t turn on in the shared room at night, so it gets pretty cold.
